Here are the first photos I publish in my new "Birdiculous" photo blog.
This spring I spent a sunny and relaxing day in the coastal area of Bothnian bay near my home town, Oulu Finland. Birds collected in a place where the sea was not ice-covered. I got a chance to photograph some familiar birds as Cygnus cygnus and Anser anser.
Cygnus cygnus / The whooper swan is probably the most frequently photographed bird in Finland. I joined the clan, taking this photo of a bird couple. I was hiding behind the beach plants. That's why there are some dark stripes in the middle of the pic.
Another day I went to a park by the Oulujoki / Oulu river. This fieldfare / turdus pilaris flew close enough so I could take this photo.
